  • Introduction to 'On The Farm'

      

    Welcome to "On The Farm" in the English Corner.  Here is your chance to revise our recent topic 

    with fun activities and see what you remember.  The activities should be marked off as you go 

    along and should be finished by the end of the month (April 2016).  Use 'THE SOFA' to ask any 

    questions or ask for help in regards to the activities.  Make comments on how your fellow 

    classmates are doing to let them know that they are on the right track.  Have fun!

  • What animals do we find on the farm?

    This activity allows you to see how many of the farm animals you remember from class.  The listening game will allow you to match the correct word to the picture.  

    • Listen to each animal being spoken and match it with the correct picture.

      Find a picture of a farm animal and upload it below.  Your title will be the name of the farm animal.  Make sure you upload a different picture from your classmates.   Picture doubles will not be accepted, so take a look at the pictures already uploaded.  Upload the picture before the end of April, 2016. Happy finding!

  • What can I see and hear on the farm?

    This activity will let you practice writing about what you see and hear on the farm.  Take a good look at the picture!  See how many sentences you can write!

  • Mummies and their babies

    Firstly you learned about the adults, in this exercise you will revise what the baby animals are called. 
  • A farmyard song.

    Listen to the song.  Which of the following animals wasn't in the song?  Record your answer below.





  • My experience.

    I have visited many farms with my two children.   I have saw all the animals that we have learned about in class.  I haven't seen all the baby animals, only the calf, chick, puppy and lamb.  What about you?  What animals have you seen and have you seen all the baby animals too?
